ELKOMS is aware of its responsibility and ready to act according to the section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act regarding “Conflict Minerals (3TG- Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten and Gold)”.
ELKOMS supports the requirement of social, environmental and human rights standard as a supplier and ensures that products of ELKOMS company do not contain Conflict Minerals sourced from mines within the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries. Therefore, ELKOMS investigates and requires from its own suppliers to avoid the use of Conflict minerals that is sourced from Conflict mines.
On behalf of this issue, ELKOMS collects information from its responsible supply chain related to the source of the Conflict Mineral which is necessary to be used during the manufacture of the products, ensures that the mineral is sourced from Conflict-Free Mines by requesting evidence and decides for further trading based on the information that is collected annually.
